Gianni Infantino FIFA President arrives in Lagos for CAF Football Awards

Infantino's first visit upon arrival was to the Lagos State Government House where he met with Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

Also on the entourage were the CAF President Ahmad Ahmad and FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura.

Infantino expressed excitement for being in Lagos and said it was an honour to meet Ambode and the Nigerian team.

Apart from the CAF awards, Infantino is also expected to attend the FIFA Executive Football Summit slated for Tuesday, February 20.

The award ceremony holds on Monday night  at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island.
