Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week: David Tlale, Ejiro Amos Tafiri, Odion Mimonet fired up LFDW2016 runway for day 2
Day 2 of Heineken Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2016wrapped few minutes ago 27th into 28th October at the Federal Palace Hotel & Casino with impressive showcases.
Fruche opened the night with interesting pieces featured in monochrome with details like sequins highlighted in each design from the collection. Ladunni Lambo created pieces out of 'Aso Oke' making statements with fringes and tassels on tiered skater skirts and other sultry looks from the collection.
Kiki Kamanu made statement with graphic prints on tops and an entire collection that features a recurring fringe-y note on all the pieces in the collection.
Deji Eniola made had a unisex collection featuring military styled/combat jackets and form fitting tuxedos. The brand had interesting design ideas and styles with a satisfactory tailoring.
Amede displayed a line of sultry/dreamy chic pieces featuring Kaftans, jumpsuits, floaty dresses that are sensual and drape effortlessly on the perfect muse.
POC made a detour completely from his signature Kaftan styles to more unconventional designs featuring casual designs for the fashion forward man; shorts, tunics with vent details and more interesting pieces made up the collection.
Maxivive's Bodun exclusive featured a dramatic display of the interesting capsule collection featuring a display with a 'message'.
Re came back with her bubbly/happy print in chic casual designs the styling highlight in Re's collection was the fringe visors.
Gozel Green's presentation was filled with chic structures, intricate cutouts with Moofa presenting a collection of stunning designs featuring appliqués, embellished laces and intricate beading.
Studio 189 presented floaty pieces with Iamisigo showing off tiered pieces that was a major hit on the runway for the season.Siphosihle Masango presented 5- pieces of floaty pieces.
David Tlale easily owned the runway showing the most amount of offerings on the runway. Ejiro Amos Tafiri came right after Tlale with a stunning assortment of looks for the EAT muse.
Odion Mimonet closed the show with breathtaking pieces with glam details.
