When the time comes to pop the question to the woman of your dreams, where will your preferred location be?
Just recently, with a series of tweets, TV presenter, Zainab Balogun tweeted the frank view that weddings and proposals do not have to be public, suggesting that that she would personally prefer to have her man propose to her in private.
Of course, that is a personal view, and if you are a guy [or babe] wondering which location would be best to propose at, the five places listed below will definitely be of help.
1. Scene of your first date
If you or your lover is a romantic person at heart, this is an ideal option for you.
The idea is great because you can bring back those nostalgic feelings of the early days, and how far you both have come.
That first date began a phase for both of you, and you can go back there to begin the next phase, too.
2. Her favourite city in the world
If you can afford it, taking your girl to her favourite place in the world - Paris, London, or the romantic scenes of Italy - is not a bad idea.
The only thing you need is an idea of where her favourite city is, and then you can think of an idea to take her there and take her breath away with one helluva romantic proposal
3. Her favourite place in the city
The thing about women is that they love thoughtful gestures, and if you do stuff that gives her the impression that you actually listen to her wishes, desires and fantasies, she'll treasure those things.
So, if your repeatedly mentions how happy and comfortable she feels doing something, or at a certain place - maybe a restaurant, a beach, or some other favourite place or things of hers, that could be your cue to propose to her there.
4. In bed
Grace [not her real identity] says "I think I'm a very weird, private person. And my idea of a perfect wedding proposal will be him bringing me breakfast in bed. Sitting with me, and making small talk while I eat, and then he says some sweet words and pops the question.
“That’d be so perfect for me."
5. At dinner with her family
Taiwo [not her real identity] says "I'd love it if my boyfriend popped the question during a dinner at my family house, with all the people I love around to witness the moment."
The common public places - clubs, malls, streets, cars and others are still valid locations to propose at; but the point is to know what your partner likes and what she doesn't.
If she loves privacy a lot, you should get the gist that a public proposal won't work. But if she's the outgoing type who has loads of friends, a public proposal sounds like something that will excite her.
