Golden curvy models of JPKingdom have joined the rest of the world to mark the 2018 International Women’s Day with a #Metoo photoshoot.
The #Metoo movement beams the spotlight on sexual harassment and abuse of women in different forms.
Over the years women have been marginalized in many forms, body shaming is one of the many harassment they face, especially the plus size in many parts of the world and Nigeria is no exceptions.
The Golden Curvy models had a photo-shoot to press for progress and support the women-driven campaign to fight against any form of harassment in style as part of their programmes of this year's women's day celebration.
The #MeToo campaign which went viral on social media to help demonstrate the widespread prevalence of sexual assault and harassment, especially in the workplaces, followed soon after the public revelations of sexual misconduct allegations against Harvey Weinstein.
#MeToo has drawn global conversation and commitment to the abuse women face in everyday life and seeks to support of victims of sexual assault and harassment.
Golden Curvy ladies are saying it’s time to end abuse of women, celebrate their achievements and highlight the ongoing fight against gender equality. It is high time to #pressforprogress.
